Hindu Women Forum to Host First-Ever New Zealand Hindu Women Conference

The Hindu Women Forum, part of the Hindu Council of New Zealand, will host the inaugural New Zealand Hindu Women Conference on 20 September 2025 in Wellington. With the theme “Promoting Women – Strengthening Communities,” the event aims to empower Hindu women by fostering leadership, entrepreneurship, and community service. The conference will feature keynote speeches, panel discussions, cultural performances, and networking opportunities. Distinguished guests, including Her Excellency Neeta Bhushan, High Commissioner of India to New Zealand, are expected to attend. Plenary sessions will explore Hindu women’s roles in governance, academia, media, and public service, with participation from various government agencies. Open to women of all backgrounds and supportive men, the event encourages collaboration and celebrates achievements. Registration is $25, with free entry for up to 20 university students.
