[ Buddhistdoor Global ] Chökyi Nyima Rinpoche Inaugurates New Dharma Center in Lisbon

The center is located in the village of Azenhas do Mar, overlooking the Atlantic Ocean, and is a short distance from Lisbon and a 40-minute drive from Lisbon Airport.

During the inauguration, Rinpoche gave his first in-person Dharma teaching at the new center. He emphasized the qualities of the Buddha and the importance of practicing the Buddhist teachings. Rinpoche is considered to be one of the greatest living masters of the Dzogchen or “Great Perfection” tradition of Vajrayana Buddhism.
