The article titled “TTD chief seeks suggestions from Hindu pontiffs at conclave” from Deccan Herald reports on a three-day Dharmika Sadas organized by the Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams (TTD) under the aegis of its Hindu Dharma Prachara Parishad¹. The conclave was attended by 25 Peethadhipathis from various mutts across the country, who deliberated on taking forward the Hindu Sanatana Dharma more effectively through a series of Dharmic programmes¹.
On the first day, the pontiffs unanimously advocated that TTD alone can lead the campaign of Hindu Sanatana Dharma and sustain its sanctity for future generations¹. TTD chairman Bhumana Karunakar Reddy said that the Board has been doing a wide range of Dharmic activities for several decades and is ever prepared to glorify Hindu Dharma as per the suggestions of the Peethadhipathis and Hindu religious heads¹.
During his inaugural speech, the TTD Board Chief advocated that Bharat is the land of Vedas and lord Sri Maha Vishnu emerged in various incarnations during aeon to protect humanity from evil forces¹. He added that TTD, from the past several decades, has been involved in carrying out various spiritual, religious and social welfare programmes to take forward the ethics and ethos of Hindu Sanatana Dharma taught by the great forefathers and saints in sacred Hindu texts¹.
He also requested the most pious Swamijis and Matajis who graced the Sadas to provide their valuable suggestions to take forward Hindu Sanatana Dharma across the country as well as the globe¹. One of the participants, Swami Swatmanandendra Saraswati of Visakha Sri Sarada Peetham, praised TTD’s Dharmic programs for invigorating Dharmic fervour among youth and driving them towards righteousness¹.
