Pakistan has allocated a budget of Rs 10 million for the restoration of the historic Baoli Sahib temple in Narowal, Punjab. The temple, which has been non-functional since 1960, will undergo its first phase of reconstruction under the supervision of the Evacuee Trust Property Board (ETPB). The restoration project aims to address the long-standing demands of the local Hindu community, which has been without a functional temple in the distric. The ETPB plans to construct a boundary wall around the temple site before handing it over to the Pak Dharamstan Committee. This initiative is seen as a significant step towards religious inclusivity and the preservation of cultural heritage.
