[ TAPinto ] Hillsborough Recognizes Contributions of Hindu Community

Hillsborough, NJ, recognized the contributions of its Hindu community by declaring October as Hindu Heritage Month. Mayor Robert Britting presented a proclamation at the Township Committee meeting on October 15, 2024. Hinduism, the third largest religion globally, has a significant following in the United States, including Hillsborough. The proclamation aims to promote unity among Dharmic communities, raise awareness of Hindu heritage, and educate society on issues affecting the Hindu-American community.
