[ OpIndia ] Lucknow: Muslim mob attack Ganesh Puja pandal amid “Allah Hu Akbar” slogans, pelt stones and threaten to kill Hindu family, 2 minors detained

On September 10th in Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh, a group of young Muslim men attacked a Ganesh Puja pandal, throwing stones and breaking an urn near the idol while chanting “Allah Hu Akbar.” The incident occurred during the evening aarti, performed by a woman and some girls. The attackers also threatened the Hindu family involved in the puja. Following the attack, Hindu organizations protested, and the police have registered a case, detaining two minors. The situation is currently under control, and further legal action is being taken.
