The newly appointed chairman of the Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanam (TTD) Board, B R Naidu, has announced that he aims to ensure that all employees at the Tirumala temple are Hindus. Naidu stated that this would be his first priority and mentioned that he plans to discuss with the Andhra Pradesh government how to handle staff members of other faiths, suggesting options such as transfers or voluntary retirement schemes (VRS). He also raised concerns about irregularities that occurred during the previous administration and emphasized the need to safeguard the sanctity of the temple. Naidu expressed gratitude for being appointed to this position and committed to working with honesty and transparency.
