Thirteen Hindu organizations across the U.S. held vigils to condemn the recent terror attack in Pahalgam, Kashmir, which claimed the lives of 26 Indians. The groups demanded that U.S. lawmakers recognize the attack as a religiously motivated act and designate Pakistan as a state sponsor of terrorism. Peaceful demonstrations took place in major cities, including Washington, D.C., New York, Houston, and Los Angeles, with participants lighting candles, reciting prayers, and calling for justice. More rallies and a virtual prayer meeting are planned in the coming days.
