**Bangladeshi Hindus Targeted in Ongoing Violence**

In Bangladesh, the Hindu minority community, constituting only 7.5% of the population, has become the deliberate target of violence. After student protests led to the ouster of Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina’s regime, rampaging crowds attacked Hindu homes, businesses, temples, and even cremation yards. Up to 300 homes, nearly 20 temples, and numerous businesses were vandalized, resulting in 40 injuries. The situation remains deeply concerning, with international attention focused on ensuring the protection and well-being of minorities¹. Additionally, during the Durga Puja festival, 450 suspected criminals were arrested for their involvement in attacks against Hindus². The violence underscores the need for vigilance and efforts to restore law and order in the region.
