Vishwa Hindu Parishad (VHP) Sthapana Diwas commemorates the founding of the Vishwa Hindu Parishad in 1964, a pivotal organization aimed at preserving Hindu Dharma and cultural unity. Celebrations across India include religious ceremonies, cultural performances, and speeches by spiritual leaders and dignitaries. Events often feature tableaux of Lord Krishna, bhajans, and youth-led programs that highlight Hindu values. Leaders emphasize the importance of protecting Sanatan Dharma, resisting religious conversions, and promoting temple preservation. The day serves as a reaffirmation of VHP’s mission to unite Hindus globally and uphold traditional values. In places like Tripura and Rajasthan, large gatherings are held in community halls and schools, with active participation from local officials and religious figures. The organization also uses the occasion to honor contributors to Hindu unity and pass resolutions focused on social service and cultural revival. Overall, the day reinforces VHP’s commitment to spiritual awareness and national integrity.
