The Sri Lakshmi Narasimha Temple in New Berlin is undergoing expansion. This unique Hindu temple is dedicated to Lord Vishnu, specifically to Lakshmi Narasimha as a deity. The founders, Krish Narayanan and his wife Jayashree Narayanan, believe this is the only temple in the U.S. dedicated to Lakshmi Narasimha.

The temple attracts devotees from across the country, including California, New York, and North Carolina, who contact the founders to pray on their behalf. Regular visitors mostly come from the Chicago suburbs and the Milwaukee area.

The temple practices include preparing the Puja, offering food and fruits to the Lord, and chanting the thousand names describing Lord Vishnu, which takes about 20 minutes. The founders started expanding the temple two years ago, focusing on completing the shrine to Lord Narasimha and his families.

The statues for the expansion have already been created in India and are now waiting to be placed in the temple. The founders feel blessed and have dedicated all their resources to build and dedicate this temple. The expansion, which will complete the worshipping space and finish the temple, is expected to be done by July of 2025.
