[ The Times of India ] Built at cost of Rs 1,749 crore: PM Modi inaugurates new Nalanda University campus in Bihar

Prime Minister Narendra Modi officially opened the new campus of Nalanda University, situated in Rajgir, Bihar. The newly constructed campus will be located in close proximity to the ancient ruins of the original university. Prior to the inauguration ceremony, PM Modi took the opportunity to explore and observe the remnants of the historic Nalanda University.

– The inauguration ceremony was attended by several distinguished individuals, including external affairs minister S Jaishankar and the heads of missions from 17 countries.
– Nalanda University is envisioned as a collaborative effort between India and the East Asia Summit (EAS) countries.
