In an interview, Taslima Nasreen expressed concern that Islamic radicals are attempting to turn Bangladesh into another Afghanistan. She highlighted that these radicals are brainwashing youths to become anti-India, anti-Hindu, and pro-Pakistan. Nasreen initially supported the students’ movement against the autocratic government but later realized it was funded by Islamist jihadis.
