[ News 18] ‘Give Independence To Bangladeshi Hindus’: Bengali-Hindu UK Politician Pushpita Gupta

Pushpita Gupta, a London-based Labour Party Councillor of Bangladeshi origin, has called for an independent land for Hindus in Bangladesh. She argues that the Hindu minority in Bangladesh has been under constant attack and faces an existential threat, especially since Nobel Laureate Muhammad Yunus took over. Gupta has urged Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi to intervene and protect the persecuted Hindu community, which she refers to as “Modi’s family.” She also highlighted the unconstitutional nature of the current interim government in Bangladesh and the dangers faced by former Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina if she were to be extradited back to Bangladesh.
