The BAPS Hindu Mandir in Abu Dhabi, the first traditional Hindu stone temple in the Middle East, is set to open for the public on February 18, 2024. However, due to high demand from overseas visitors, UAE residents who haven’t registered are requested to visit from March 1, 2024. The temple, which is a symbol of the UAE’s commitment to tolerance and diversity, will be inaugurated by Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi. The temple project, led by Pujya Swami Brahmaviharidas, aims to bring together cultures and communities. The temple’s design and architecture draw inspiration from the ancient Hindu scriptures of Shilpa Shastras.
