How Houston Jewish and Hindu communities stood by each other after Oct. 7 attacks in Israel

After the Oct. 7 surprise attack on Israel in 2023, when Hamas-led militants killed 1,200 people and took around 250 Israelis hostage, the Jewish Federation of Greater Houston sought support that crossed cultural and faith lines in Houston.
