HinduPACT AHAD Research Report: Tarnishing India, Targeting Hindus. The Global Weaponization of Transnational Narrative

HinduPACT, through its initiative American Hindus Against Defamation (AHAD), released a report titled “Tarnishing India, Targeting Hindus: The Global Weaponization of Transnational Narrative.” The report strongly refutes allegations of transnational repression (TNR) against India, arguing that such claims are ideologically driven and lack credible evidence. HinduPACT asserts that India’s actions abroad are lawful and guided by constitutional safeguards, unlike authoritarian regimes known for extrajudicial tactics. The report identifies groups such as IAMC, HfHR, SALDEF, and the Sikh Coalition as key propagators of the TNR narrative, accusing them of attempting to delegitimize India and alienate the Hindu diaspora. It highlights the damaging consequences of these narratives, including increased hate crimes, temple vandalism, and political marginalization of Hindus globally. HinduPACT frames the report as a defense of democratic values and a call to protect the cultural and civilizational ties of the diaspora with India.
