A Muslim mob in Bangladesh attacked Hindus in Rangpur to prevent them from attending a protest rally organized by the Bangladesh Sammilit Sanatani Jagran Jot. The rally aimed to demand the implementation of eight demands by the interim government led by Muhammad Yunus. The attackers, associated with the Bangladesh Islami Chhatra Shibir, left many Hindus injured and bloodied.
