A Hindu charity group in Nairobi is using religious music events to support the education of more than 20,000 Kenyan children. The Giant’s Group of Nairobi Twiga and Sri Vanik Vaishnav Mahajan hosted a spiritual event at the SSD Temple in Lower Kabete, where attendees enjoyed traditional Hindu music and dance while raising funds for educational supplies. The event featured performances by Indian artists, including Deepali Shastri, Vishwanath Batunge, and Bhumikaa Malik. Chairperson Chetna Mukesh Desai emphasized that the initiative provides stationery, uniforms, blankets, and scholarships for underprivileged but bright students. The group welcomes people from all backgrounds to participate in the celebrations and aims to reduce poverty and violence through education.
