Dr Siddartha Jayanti

Dr. Siddhartha Visveswara Jayanti is an Assistant Professor of Computer Science at Dartmouth College and leads the Distributed Computing and Verification Lab. His work focuses on developing simple, fast, and reliable algorithms for complex problems in distributed computing, verification, economics, security, and machine learning. A former research scientist at Google Research, he created formally verified algorithms for large-scale data processing. He earned his Ph.D. and M.S. from MIT and his BSE from Princeton.

A strong advocate for Telugu and Sanskrit, he authored the first modern computer science paper in Telugu with an abstract in Sanskrit. He is a Sakahari Hindu, faculty advisor to Dartmouth Shanti, and has addressed global audiences in Sanskrit.
