Mauritius PM Offers Prayers at Ram Temple in Ayodhya

MAURITIUS, September 13, 2025 (The Hindu): Mauritius Prime Minister Navinchandra Ramgoolam on Friday offered prayers at the Ram Temple in Ayodhya and performed aarti of Ram Lalla. He was accompanied by his wife, Veena Ramgoolam and a 30-member delegation. With this visit, Mr. Ramgoolam became the second head of state, after the Prime Minister of Bhutan, to offer prayers at the temple. The Mauritius Prime Minister spent about half an hour in the temple complex and also reviewed the construction work. At the temple premises, a short film on the construction of the Ram Mandir was presented to the visiting Prime Minister and his delegation by the Tata Group. The film highlighted the grandeur, craftsmanship and distinctive features of the temple.
