The Devbhoomi Sangharsh Samiti (DSS), a pro-Hindu group, has urged vegetable sellers in Chandigarh to display placards with “Sanatan Sabji Wala” written on them. This initiative aims to boycott vendors from other states and support local sellers. The DSS, along with the Civil Society Group of Sanjauli, distributed these placards among vegetable sellers. While some sellers complied, others removed the placards as soon as the group members left the market. The DSS has been actively involved in the Sanjauli mosque issue and continues to push for local support.
